Whitby Progressive Metal

Protest the Hero is a Canadian progressive metal band from Whitby, Ontario. Originally named Happy Go Lucky, the band changed their name to Protest the Hero shortly before releasing their debut EP, Search for the Truth, in 2002. In 2005, the band released their first full-length album Kezia on Canadian indie label Underground Operations.

On January 23, 2006, the band signed with Vagrant Records for Kezia's American release on April 4, 2006. Their second full-length album, Fortress was released by Underground Operations in Canada and by Vagrant Records worldwide on January 29, 2008.[5] The band released their third studio album, Scurrilous, on March 22, 2011.

Epic Canadian Black Metal

Wolven Ancestry is a melodic pagan black metal band based out of Sudbury, Ontario Canada. Blending dark atmospheric overtones, dissonant tremolo chords, and melodic and sorrowful passages with lyrical idealogies inspired from the bands interest in earthen connectivity, paganism, spirituality and historical themes, the band was considered at one time to be one of the top black metal bands in Canada. The band toured Canada and the US frequently, playing shows with many notable acts including Mayhem, Behemoth, Impaled Nazarene, Napalm Death, Sigh, 1349, Ensiferum, and many other highly influential metal bands.

Hamilton Melodic Thrash

Fusing the speed and aggression of thrash metal with the hooks and power of melodic death metal, Profaner deliver a ferocious and entertaining live show, which is backed up by their first full length release "Signs of Nine", and an upcoming album (expected release is Fall).

Sudbury Black/Death Metal

Before the Black Gates are a 6-piece extreme metal band, hailing from Sudbury, Ontario. Formed in 2009, the band has constantly refined and honed its sound, creating a unique mixture of black metal, doom metal, death metal and classical music.

Massachusetts Hardcore Punk

A Wilhelm Scream (abbreviated as AWS) is a melodic hardcore band from New Bedford, Massachusetts formed in 1999. Many people have referenced Strung Out, Hot Water Music, Propagandhi, and Strike Anywhere as the band's similar artists. Their name is a reference to the Wilhelm scream, a famous stock sound effect which is mainly used in films. The band previously went by the names Smackin' Isaiah, Koen, and Adam's Crack, though the former was the only name to be used in any major release. The reason for the name changes "from Koen to Smackin' Isaiah to A Wilhelm Scream was really a matter of them adding new members, and progressing/maturing as a band"
Nuno Pereira – vocals
