PUNK NIGHT IN SUDBURY

ARTIFICIAL DISSEMINATION (Toronto/Hamilton Garage Punk)
https://www.facebook.com/ArtificialDissemination
https://artificialdissemination.bandcamp.com/

Artificial Dissemination (A.D.) is a 2-piece drum (Jamie) and guitar (Shawna) punk-garage
explosion from Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Their stripped down sound ranges from punk to garage to old school hardcore punk, with surf influences and lots of screaming vocal energy. Artificial Dissemination is from way out there but the music is here. “This rudimentary guitar & drum duo from Canada belts out simple rhythms and straight ahead garage band (in the '77 sense) punk tunes."
(K. Sanderson, Maximum Rock and Roll magazine, November 2014 issue)

BEAVER SLAP (Barrie All-Female Hardcore Punk)
https://www.facebook.com/BeaverSlaps
Sudbury got Beaver Slapped recently and it was truly an epic experience! Angry and fast, old school and heavy, Beaver Slap deliver a raw and intense show and are establishing quite a name for themselves. They are working on some new materials that is sure to turn some heads so come on out and get Beaver Slapped on September 16th!

THE THERAPISTS (Sudbury)
https://www.facebook.com/partyviolence

So this local band started many years ago playing in the basements of Serbian clubs and peoples houses, partying like no one else had ever seen. They partied so hard, they never really recorded much in nearly a decade. That has changed, and The Therapists are working on what is going to be like throwing every music genre into a blender and taking a drink. We can't wait for the album. It's sure to be a trip!

THE TWENTIEST (Sudbury)
The Twentiest has been rocking some serious stages this summer including some festival appearances with some well established act (ahem, Quiet Riot). Never a band to take it easy, this hard hitting local pop punk band has the energy of a metal band with the melodies and influence of some of punk rocks elite. This band is a rising star in the music scene and always put on one hell of a show. If you haven't seen The Twentiest you should definitely check them out.

Hamilton Garage Punk Duo

Artificial Dissemination (A.D.) is a 2-piece drum (Jamie Problem) and guitar (Shawna Heist) punk-garage explosion from Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Their stripped down sound ranges from old school hardcore punk to garage, with surf influences and lots of screaming vocal energy. Artificial Dissemination is from way out there but the music is here.

Artificial Dissemination is an audio, visual and print form of expression that exposes and opposes the dissemination of false information which keeps us ignorant and living in fear of each other. We become obsessed and preoccupied with our differences instead of celebrating what we have in common.

Barrie Hardcore Punk

Beaver Slap are an all-female hardcore punk crew out of Barrie, Ontario who have been taking no prisoners since their beginnings in early 2012. Blending ’80s style hardcore riffs with tongue-in-cheek lyrics covering social politics, the feminine perspective, and absurdist adventures into depravity.

Julie Marchione on Guitar /
Cailyn Fitzgerald on Drums /
Kalei Lynn on Bass /
Natalie Mason on Rhythm Guitar

Sudbury Party Violence

Bio:
The Therapists are a party violence band from Sudbury Ontario formed in 2009, and shared the stage with several well established acts over the years including Act of Defiance, Woods of Ypres, Necronomicon, and Fuck The Facts to name but a few.

The band is a chaotic fusion of experimental metal, hardcore, punk, grind and of course, power violence. There is also a strong influence from psychedelic rock, not only subtly within their music but also in the bands lyrical content. Subjects of the lyrics often relate to partying in excess, hence the term the band created to describe their music..."Party Violence", the result of power violence and partying! Whether it be dressing up like a condom or claiming to be Jesus Christ himself, The Therapists always know how to throw one hell of a party!
