Finland Melodic Death Metal

In 1991, Pekka Kokko and Petri Sankala founded the metal band Ancestor. After Ancestor had recorded two demos, Antti Kokko joined the band as lead guitarist. In 1998, after five demos, Ancestor disbanded and Kalmah formed. The new band consisted of Pekka Kokko performing vocals and guitar, Antti Kokko on lead guitar, Pasi Hiltula on keyboards, Altti Veteläinen on bass, and Petri Sankala on drums.

Kalmah began to write songs for a promotional CD entitled Svieri Obraza. With this demo, they acquired a recording contract with Spinefarm Records and headed to Tico-Tico Studios to record their debut album, Swamplord.

Toronto Melodic Death Metal

In the iceclad realm of Canada, where the land, the sea and sky converge; four young men step forth from scarlet mists to propagate their scourge. As the sun begins to rise on 2016, VESPERIA have already met with international praise and repute by the primal incantation that is their vast and resplendent sound.

Established in 2012 by lead vocalist/ bassist Morgan Rider, VESPERIA have ascended at an unsettling velocity. Having conquered the entirety of their native Canada, won the 2015 Wacken Metal Battle, unabatingly releasing distinctive material and now featuring some of Canada’s finest musicians, VESPERIA is poised to subjugate the Earth.

Sudbury Metal

Joe and Craig were introduced by a fellow friend and guitar player named Gary Desormeaux, who also co-wrote 4 of the 10 tracks on "Beneath Grey Skies". At this point the band went through 2 name changes, Having an opportunity to open for Anvil, they quickly named themselves Death Ryder. After some thought, they later became Kronawar. Three of these songs are massively reworked versions of Gary's and Craig's former band "Misfire" from the 2006-2008 era. Joe, Gary and Craig tried many drummers and eventually Joe met Dylan while shopping for Auto Parts. Dylan auditioned and was an instant match. This line up only played one show together. Gary eventually left the band and focused on his family and shortly thereafter, Dylan pointed out the similarities between Kronawar and another band name...
