THE LAD CLASSIC (Toronto)
THE LAD CLASSIC from Toronto, Canada continues to attract a dedicated fan base while touring their high energy rock show throughout southern Ontario & Atlantic Canada. The release of ‘Lighting’; an acoustic version of their EP ‘Thunder’ - garnered positive reviews along with college radio play and a finalist award from the John Lennon Songwriting Contest for the track “Blow Out”.
Their follow up electric EP ‘Thunder’ - produced & engineered by Damon de Szegheo (Serena Ryder, Barenaked Ladies) at Oak Recording Studio in Toronto, Canada - features “Cadillac Jack“, which received play on rock radio across Canada and in parts of the U.S., UK and Europe. The band has followed that up with appearances on Sirius XM’s Humble and Fred show, as well as opening for bands like One Bad Son (604 Records), The Motorleague (Sonic/Warner), The Beaches, K.I.D and performing at Big Music Fest with the likes of Big Sugar, Aerosmith and Slash.
BLACKWOOD SINNERS (Sudbury)
Blackwood Sinners is a rising star in the Sudbury music scene, gaining lots of hometown support for their hard hitting edge on rock and roll. They made it to the Top 25 Canadian bands in the CBC Seachlight and the band has just signed a record deal with the Toronto label Ariella Records.

Vintage Slang are no stranger to The Asylum. The band always puts on a memorable performance displaying their northern brand of alternative fused rock. Vintage Slang are so good, in fact, that they won Sudbury's 2016 Q92 Rockband Rumble and they are set to kick things off for you for the evening.
