The Therapists

Sudbury, Ontario
Canada
Bio:
The Therapists are a party violence band from Sudbury Ontario formed in 2009, and shared the stage with several well established acts over the years including Act of Defiance, Woods of Ypres, Necronomicon, and Fuck The Facts to name but a few.

The band is a chaotic fusion of experimental metal, hardcore, punk, grind and of course, power violence. There is also a strong influence from psychedelic rock, not only subtly within their music but also in the bands lyrical content. Subjects of the lyrics often relate to partying in excess, hence the term the band created to describe their music..."Party Violence", the result of power violence and partying! Whether it be dressing up like a condom or claiming to be Jesus Christ himself, The Therapists always know how to throw one hell of a party!

The band had recorded some earlier materials and demos, and eventually released their first full length album on January 24th 2017, which was recorded and engineered by Billy Bruhmuller. The album is called "Best Friends" and contains re-recordings of older songs as well as a bunch of newer materials, showcasing the bands more experimental side and incorporation of newer elements.
