The Métis

Sudbury, Ontario
The Métis was formed in 2013 and consists of a group of four friends who decided to take their passion for music to the test. Their lead singer Nick Strong was originally supposed to be on drums. That was quickly changed, and now Kris Roszel enjoys his seat at the back of the stage. Phil Bonhomme showcases vocals along with playing bass guitar while Justin Lamothe joins him on lead guitar. 3/4 members of are native heritage, with the other member being french which is why the band chose the name The Métis.
Musically, The Métis is a post hardcore band with influences from blues and rock, with some punk as well. In 2016 the band released their first album, "San Francisco" and are currently working on a follow up release.
