The Apex

Windsor, Ontario
All the way down south to where the Detroit River never sleeps, a crushing band from Windsor called The Apex has proven themselves to be the real deal when it comes to providing the crushing metal goods. Windsor has become a breeding ground of awesome metal bands in recent years and The Apex is regarded as a sort of Windsor supergroup, as the band is comprised of current and former members of many other notable local bands such as The Grindmother, Corrupt Leaders, Disfear, Closed Casket Funeral, The Coalition Design, Pitbull Grin, Corprophemia, Machines, Pits of Rage and almost certainly others. Combining different styles and influences, this 5 piece creates a massive sound and discordant attack!
The Apex could very well be the Canadian contender to Dillinger Escape Plan, Meshuggah or Candiria, and the bands deliverance on a live plateau is equally as comparable. Known for their chaotic high energy sets, and never ceasing to ease up on the audience in their deliverance, their technical metal anthems can always keep a crowd moving. The Apex is a band that has been hitting radars outside of their Windsor breeding ground so keep an eye out for this band in a city near you.
