Sykotyk Rampage

Sault Ste Marie, Ontario
River Front Recreation Studios
When Sykotyk Rampage was spawned over 3 decades ago, no one thought that the band would still be creating music and have a 50-album catalogue. The only thing about the group that has not changed since it formed in 1982 is the dynamic music presence of Paul Becker and Dirk Becker. Through the 80’s and '90s, the band's personnel and style shifted with nearly every recording. In 1999, Shane Kokis joined the group to complete the bands line-up, as Sykotyk Rampage metamorphosed from a traditionalist rock band to the maker of some of the best alternative albums ever. With the addition of Brian Cattapan as the Bass player, Sykotyk Rampage’s cauldron of ingenuity boiled. With the change of bass players in 2012, to Tony Briglio, a new solid change in style finished the transition to Blues Chinese Metal Crash Punk Music.
Sykotyk Rampage remains dominant in music evolution, at their concerts Sykotyk Rampage's repertoire of anthem songs are sang religiously by their fans, a fun mix of bouncy blues and rock-billie. Sykotyk Rampage has played extensively, from grand arenas to intimate clubs and multi-band festivals. Their songs are played on many commercial and internet radio stations world-wide and are on regular rotation in many countries.
