Artist Profile

San Felix

Saanich, British Columbia
San Felix was formed in 2013 by renegade Victoria BC musicians of several other satellite music groups. Their history of live performance includes appearances at Canadian Music Week, Tall Tree Music Fest, Rock of The Woods, Ukee Days, Elevate the Arts, & Fernfest. As well as playing every month or two in Victoria, they also drive out for regular weekend runs to Duncan, Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Sooke, Vancouver, Gabriola, and Galiano. Their tours abroad consist of 8 back to back shows in Ontario (December 2014) and national tour of 29 shows from coast to coast (Spring 2016). They have released three EPs in their three years, and receive radio play by the CBC and college radios in both Canada and the US.
San Felix is an enthusiastic group of young men writing music together in a garage in Saanich, BC. The garage is lined with egg cartons, and some of them are going moldy because the egg wasn't cleaned off. San Felix sounds like that time when you ordered a water and the waiter put mint leaves in it, and you thought "I was not expecting these mint leaves but I still enjoy them". They are gearing up for The National Tour in April, taking them across Canada and back with highlights like performing at Canadian Music Week 2016.
Ian Kopp - Vocals
Brett Frankson - Keyboard
Mark Bell - Bass
