Puttin' On The Foil

Okotoks, Alberta
Hailing from Okotoks, Alberta is the three-piece Punk 'n' Roll power-tooled outfit known as Puttin' On The Foil. A straight ahead punk 'n' roll party band recognized for their dedication to performing through their relentless touring schedule, they have garnered an endorsement with Mesa Boogie amplifiers and Clayton USA Guitar picks. Working with acts such as Monster Truck, D.O.A., Dayglo Abortions, Supersuckers, Slash, Godsmack, and Dropkick Murphy's, the band has played to a wide variety of audiences.

They pride themselves as a kickass original band but do have the advantage of playing cover/original shows as well. They're a working band like the good 'ole days with 140+ cover tunes and 40 and growing original tunes in their arsenal. They are ready for any show or event. They even joke they're available for funerals, Bar Mitzvahs and weddings, any kind of show...ain't no joke. They can do it! "We are diverse. If you wanted to hear a Steve Earle/ Otis Redding tune we can do it. If you want to hear a Slayer/Metallica tune we’ll do it as well."

They officially released their first album "Sing-A-Long Drinkin' Songs" in 2013. It was re-released as "Giver To The Liver" in 2015. Their second album "Fired Up Ready To Roll" was released in 2015 as well. Their 3rd album is due in the fall of 2016.

From the start of the tour to the finish, Puttin' On The Foil enjoy putting the hammer down out on road, pounding out the working man's rock with some hillbilly town in and bringing hearty times to their pumped up fans. Playing 130+ shows year, their music, razor-sharp showmanship, and out of control stage antics speaks volumes for them. And that volume is cranked full up! Need a leaking hole fixed or need something nailed? These guys will plug ‘er up so she'll never leak again and they'll nail ‘er hard so she won't come loose. Like blue collared electricians of music, they'll wire up your shorts in a hurry!
