Artist Profile

Victoriaville, Quebec

OBLITERATE hails from the abyss deep within Québec’s realms standing forthright as a new breed of Deathcore bringing fans an aural pummeling never heard before. The 5-piece unit was formed in 2010 and quickly made moves to highlight the band as a powerful force coming into the genre and for all to be prepared.

In 2012, OBLITERATE released their debut album “The Filth of Humanity” which impacted fans thoroughly, giving the band a strong platform to head out on the road and keep pushing. In 2014, the band released their soul gripping self-titled EP “Obliterate” which allowed the bands notoriety in the Canadian music scene to grow immensely. OBLITERATE takes heavy drops, relentless attacks and riffs that will take you to the deepest bowels of hell giving fans the rush they look for.

OBLITERATE recorded with Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy) at The Grid Productions where they have worked with other notable bands such as of course Cryptopsy, Despised Icon, Beyond Creation, Ingested and many more. Collaboration with Christian and the studio certainly helped give OBLITERATE the immediate edge in the genre and allow their music to hit you as hard on a record as it does live.

OBLITERATE has solid tour experience hitting the road in North America with Bermuda and Weston on “The Canadian Moose Knuckle Tour”, the “December to Dismember” tour with Beacons and Towers, the “Tour” with Of Temples and most recently “The Canadian Dissentients Tour” with Angelmaker and Falsifier. OBLITERATE puts on an intense and all out show on stage that will keep you wanting to come back for more.

In 2016, OBLITERATE partnered with the notable Extreme Management Group and finding a home on their roster alongside big hitters such as Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, Cryptopsy, Origin, Decrepit Birth, Rings of Saturn and many more. OBLITERATE is working on their next album which will be their biggest and most ground shaking release to date.
