Citing Busta Rhymes and Ice Cube as early influences, AntiFrantik introduced himself to the world with his 2006 release "The Powers EP". An avid graphic novel enthusiast, Frak channeled many of the themes within B.M. Bendis' indie classic to tell a harrowing tale of struggle, learned helplessness, and eventual inner strength and victory.
After taking time off to pursue degrees in biochemistry, neuroscience, and film & television production, AntiFrantik returned to music with his 2010 release, "The Jazz Funk Collection". Paying homage to renowned jazz funk artists such as Herbie Hancock and Donald Byrd, Frak puts his flow and lyricism to the test in this refreshing, laid-back mixtape.
AntiFrantik has also been actively pursuing a career in the film industry. He has been instrumental in the production of three music videos and two short films, with more on the way. He is also in the midst of writing several screenplays.
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, AntiFrantik is continually representing his city through his art. Currently he is gearing up for the release of his LP, Love & Poison: A Powers Epilogue.
